Welcome to Knox Enterprise LLC Inspection Services . We are a Venango County Pennsylvania based business that offers years of knowledge, experience and trust. In a wide variety of expert fields. We stride to give our clients quality inspections and services beyond the standard.
I have over 30 years of experience in all phases of building construction. 24 plus years as a law enforcement officer and proudly served in the U.S. Military until honorably discharged after my term.

How we perform certain tests
Septic Dye Test
HOW WE DO IT.
everyone seems to do these a little bit differently but here at Knox Enterprise our standards of practice are as follows.
We run a MINIMUM of 150 gallons of water for a 1 or 2 bedroom home. If the home has more bedrooms then we add an additional 75 gallons per other rooms. WE DO NOT EXCEED 300 gallons. Water source is taken from the home and timed. We want a flow rate between 3 and 5 gallons per minute. If you are on a well / pump system we monitor the water performance and stop the supply of water every 30 minutes for a 10 minute duration to allow the pump to cool and give the well the opportunity to recover. Nearing the end of our test we will introduce a red or green florescent trace dye into the septic system. The goal is to NOT find the trace dye. In the event that the well struggles or stops producing water we IMMEDIATELY end our test regardless.
Wood Destroying Organisms
We perform a visual inspection of the interior and exterior of the home, basement Attic, living space and bedrooms. This is a limited visual inspection..we do not look inside wall or ceiling cavities, behind siding, insulation, or any enclosed areas. We do not move stored or personal items, furniture or appliances. We inspection the accessible areas. Our report will reflect on whether we found live or dead WDO's holes, tunnels or body fragments. We will also list items that would create conditions for favorable living or infestation areas and how to prevent such occurrences. VA LOANS ? WE DO HAVE THE NEW NPMA-33 forms.
Water Samples
We have a wide range of water samples available to you. We take the samples from a common area such as a kitchen. We disinfect the area and retrieve the sample (s) we then follow a strict chain of custody and pass on the samples to our laboratory to analyze. Results usually take between 5 to 10 business days depending on what type of sample we took.
( you should be treating and testing the water quality in your well every couple years )
